Renaissance of the Mind

Poverty within the being of evil
A dark stain in the creature’s mind
Evil temptations cannot be cut asunder
No fights to be fought, no battles to be won

Misery without any bounds
Pain without suffering
The hottest fire is but a cold touch
No fights to be fought, no battles to be won

Chorus

Great curse, great curse who hath begotten thee
Great lie great lie where is thy misery?
The Universe is neither an avenger nor the earth a lawgiver
Who will punish the fruits of thy iniquity?

Control the tides of nature’s fury
Destined to rule and for immortality
To slaughter the earth’s treasure
To fight with the sword and conquer with blood

The land teems with love
But hatred rules over all
To destroy the hope of the hopeless
No fights to be fought, no battles to be won

Chorus

Great curse, great curse who hath begotten thee
Great lie great lie where is thy misery?
The Universe is neither an avenger nor the earth a lawgiver
Who will punish the fruits of thy iniquity?

Weeping, crying and gnashing of teeth
Vengeance riding in an iron steed
To cut men hiding behind leaves
To defile women with noble deeds
Blood, plague and drought does haunt the precious one
The salt is crushed under the hooves of the Stallion
But it cannot lose its savor
Darkness rules the universe
They seek formlessness and void
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
No fights to be fought, no battles to be won

We cry to the heavens above
And call upon truth, knowledge and eternal bliss
The reality of absolute life and truth
No fights to be fought, no battles to be won

Chorus

Great curse, great curse who hath begotten thee
Great lie great lie where is thy misery?
The Universe is neither an avenger nor the earth a lawgiver
Who will punish the fruits of thy iniquity?
